❯ ❯ . while hiyori is somewhat disconnected from the idea of romance, he can & will experience romantic attraction if there's a sufficient amount of chemistry -- it just takes him a little while, so be patient with him!

❯ ❯ . he's majorly insecure. his fear of rejection & being disliked stems from a loveless childhood -- while he maintains a good relationship with his family, he's unfamiliar with the warmth of familial love. for this reason he strives to share his affection with others, in attempts to fill a void.

❯ ❯ . his rejection sensitive dysphoria prevents him from getting too close to people. while he builds superficial attachments easily, he struggles to open up out of fear of not being accepted. it's easy for him to trick you with his flippant personality & his shallow concept of love -- you might think you know him, but there's a lot that he's hiding from you. if he thinks even for a second that you're rejecting him, he'll close up and grow distant.

❯ ❯ . he's terrible at picking up social cues. if he's annoying you or upsetting you, he probably won't notice -- if you try to talk before he's finished, he'll drown you out. if you're too boring, he'll quickly lose interest in the conversation altogether.

❯ ❯ . his perception of danger is warped. he'll quite contentedly talk shit to a guy twice his size without regarding the possible consequences, yet a harmless little bug will terrify him.

❯ ❯ . he's still the same defiant little noble with a royalty complex as he was in the ! timeline, but he's mellowed a little bit. you might see him being kinder to those he considers "beneath him" in social status, and openly showing more gratitude, even going so far as to apologize sincerely if he thinks he's stepped out of line. he's trying his best.

❯ ❯ . he loves cute things, like plushies & bunnies! you might see him retweeting this kind of content frequently on the tl, such as pokémon plushies (be warned that he knows virtually nothing about the franchise and just likes the cute creatures,)
